From 25 June to 30 August 2025, enjoy a host of free outdoor events! The summer will kick off, as it does every year, with the École Municipale des Arts et Loisirs (EMAL), offering auditions, workshops and concerts.
This year, municipal services and local associations are joining forces to offer you a full day of non-stop entertainment, including books, sport and well-being, games, shows and creative workshops.
Do Artists Need Their Audience? Without a doubt—without spectators, there is no show. But can artists also rely on their audience physically? Miguel Rubio takes on this challenge with Playground.
Here, the staging depends entirely on the spectators. Their gaze, their presence, and even their bodies support the structure of the performance. Seated on eight chairs connected to the Chinese pole, they become a key element of the scenography. Those who accept this role will feel just how much the artist leans on them to keep everything in balance. Blending Chinese pole acrobatics, dance, theater, and humor, Playground is a performance full of surprises and extraordinary adventures. It is an aerial and absurd playground where comedy meets acrobatic prowess, suspended more than eight meters above the ground.
After collaborating with numerous companies and diverse projects, Miguel Rubio wanted to take the Chinese pole to the streets. He designed a self-sufficient system in which the audience itself becomes the pillar of the performance. Every year in May, the Fontaine d’Ouche neighbourhood celebrates! In 2026, it will be the 45th edition of the Jours de Fête. Almost three weeks of free events of all kinds (entertainment, shows, exhibitions, association day, etc.), but the highlight of the event is the Parade métisse, an artistic parade bringing together 500 to 600 people in costume, prepared with professional choreographers! The whole neighbourhood gets involved: residents, schools, associations, shopkeepers, etc. It’s also an opportunity for everyone in the city to discover this neighbourhood, which is still undergoing transformation and is set to become Europe’s first positive energy neighbourhood.

The Big Boiseau association was founded in 2019 when a group of neighbours came together, united by shared interests and a desire to achieve things together. From group orders and music to live performances and a keen love of celebrations, their initiatives have taken shape and developed organically.
For the past few months, the association has had a base for a period of five years. This is the Fabuleuse Ferme de Fernand, situated in the heart of the village of Boiseau, at 16 Rue de la Perche. This space is to be imagined and built by the residents and local associations.

From spring to autumn, a vast open-air leisure space makes its return: Cours St-So. Relaxed and restful during the day, lively and bustling in the evening. La Branche welcomes more than 146 children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Around 450 staff work there. Structured into nine mixed, multi-generational, family-sized residential units, La Branche is a place to live that resembles a village: a performance hall, swimming pool, school, playgrounds, restaurant and grocery shop open to the public, etc.
Located in the Lake Geneva region, in Savigny, 15 km north-east of Lausanne, the estate also includes a farm. It comprises 35 hectares of forest, fields and a garden cultivated according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture.
