Les Mardis d’Uzerche is the highlight of Uzerche’s summer cultural season, which has been bringing life to the area since 2010. The idea is to put on a free show for the public every Tuesday evening during the summer (July and August), at 9pm in the Cour Jean-Jaurès, right in the heart of the historic centre of Uzerche.
A multi-disciplinary programme is put on every year, ranging from street arts to circus, theatre, puppetry, dance and music.
Laisse-moi is an acrobatic duo that combines double Chinese pole, dance and interaction with the audience to tell a love story. With a dynamic choreography that links the horizontality and verticality of the masts, Nely Carrasco and Miguel Rubio integrate the spectators as the physical and emotional support of the stage, making the development of the show truly depend on them.
It’s an immersive experience in which the audience is not just a spectator, but a real pillar of the show. Sixteen chairs form part of the scenography, and those who decide to take part will feel in their flesh how their presence supports the stage, both physically and emotionally.
