The Tchafornis Festival marks the start of summer in Engis.

For nearly 30 years, the town centre has been transformed into a joyful wonderland. Over the course of a weekend, artists from near and far bring the streets and Tchafornis Park to life with street theatre, circus performances, object theatre, music, dance and other delightful extravaganzas.

A timeless moment where families, curious visitors and enthusiasts come together to laugh, dream and share. A festival on a human scale, generous and lively, where imagination reigns supreme.

Do you want to know more about ImproLocura?

ImproLocura is a mime performance full of humor and surprises, turning everyday life into a fun and unexpected experience. It combines mime, clowning, and sound effects, with music as its central element. Thanks to a device on Agro the Clown’s wrist, music and sounds are triggered in real-time, adapting to each improvised situation. This ingenious tool turns music into an additional character, interacting and reacting instantly.

ImproLocura is an unpredictable and hilarious street show that breaks the rhythm of the city (which is becoming more boring and ordinary by the day). An unexpected break that will take you out of your daily routine thanks to a provocative, amusing and extravagant style. You’ll enjoy an improvised show combining mime, clowning techniques and sound effects.
