Shows, concerts, exhibitions, markets and cultural initiatives in Corinaldo, the village of fools.

Created in 2013, the Festa dei Folli (Festival of Fools) has always aimed to create a ‘season opening’ event in Corinaldo, where art, culture and music can be enjoyed by the community and tourists alike.

Over the years, it has welcomed street artists and musical groups, flag jugglers, musicians, archers, nationally renowned personalities and authors, but above all a multitude of people who have come to enjoy the local cuisine, get dirty and run the ‘Crazy Run’, and who have chosen Corinaldo for its beauty and entertainment.

It combines mime, clowning, and sound effects, with music as its central element. Thanks to a device on Agro’s wrist, music and sounds are triggered in real-time, adapting to each improvised situation. ImproLocura at the Clown Zorrotza festival in Bilbao.

Thanks to a partnership with the Arrigorriaga International Clown Festival, the Department of Culture and Education of Bilbao City Council is able to present a outstanding selection of clown shows in Zorrotza during the first weekend of May. The Plaza del Ferial, in this Bilbao neighbourhood, will thus become the venue where visitors can discover the latest developments in the genre.

The Clown Zorrotza programme offers open-air shows by local, national and international companies. Each of the participating companies presents shows suitable for all audiences, in which the art of clowning takes centre stage. All events are free of charge and designed to be enjoyed by people of all ages.

ImproLocura at the Umore Azoka festival in Leioa.

Umore Azoka in Leioa is a venue for showcasing street art, a market for buying and selling, and a meeting place for professionals in the sector. Umore Azoka encompasses the various disciplines that use the street as a performance space (theatre, dance, circus, puppetry, parades, performances, plastic and visual arts…), offering the large audience a wide variety of shows: around fifty companies, an extensive and carefully curated programme of Basque, Spanish and international productions, with a particular focus on the most contemporary and visual forms.

At the 2026 edition, Umore Azoka will improve its accessibility, as all performance spaces at the street artists’ fair will feature a specific area reserved for people with disabilities, which will be clearly signposted. In addition, at family and children’s shows, noise-cancelling headphones will be made available to the public, designed for children and even babies with particular sensitivity to noise, with the aim of enabling more families to enjoy the programme in an adapted environment.
