ImproLocura in the Straattheaterfestival Markt op stelten in Diksmuide

Young and old alike will be enchanted by the many magical and comical theatre performances at Markt op Stelten XL. Alternate between street theatre and a visit to the second-hand book market, the play village, the summer terrace and finish with a touch of rock “n” roll.

On Thursday 15 August, from midday onwards, you can enjoy the best street theatre performances at various locations in the city centre. In addition to the Grand Place, the Beguinage and the Fish Market, you can also enjoy various performances in the municipal park.

Combine longer shows with shorter ones that are performed several times and put together your ideal programme, tailored to your family. Thanks to the additional entertainment that you can enjoy continuously, you won’t be bored for a single moment. Prefer a little peace and quiet? Then head to the summer terrace from midday onwards to enjoy a delicious beer and local regional products.

This year, the Collectif Primavez will present the show ImproLocura at the Straattheaterfestival Markt op stelten in Diksmuide on August 15 at 2:45 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.

“The Aurillac Festival is much more than a cultural event: it’s a time for creation, experimentation and sharing between artists, local people and audiences from all walks of life.

From Aurillac, art shines out across France and around the world, driven by the audacity of the guest companies and the enthusiasm of a loyal audience. Once again this year, almost 3,000 artists and 140,000 spectators will come together to enjoy a great popular celebration.

Collective projects, participatory performances and intimate encounters will set the pace for this resolutely free and joyful edition. Alongside the official selection, more than 650 visiting companies will be sharing the Festival’s effervescence, offering a wide range of perspectives and experiences. ImproLocura in the Semana Grande de Bilbao.

For nine days, the festival will take over the streets of Bilbao and thousands of people will gather to enjoy the good atmosphere and the many cultural activities included in Bilbao’s festival programme.

It was 1978 when several Bilbao associations decided to organise a competition of ideas for the creation of a Big Week in Bilbao, since until then, the summers in the city had only hosted a few scattered events that had little relevance among the citizens.

Thus was born the Aste Nagusia of Bilbao, which after more than 40 years has become one of the most popular and visited festivals in the Basque Country. After the mythical chupinazo and the reading of the proclamation, the peculiar Marijaia, the symbol of the festivities, will appear on the balcony of the Arriaga Theatre to start the celebrations.

The musical offer is one of the attractions of the Aste Nagusia, this year there will be more than 100 free performances in 8 venues. The main stages of Abandoibarra and Parque Europa.

On the last day of the festival, Marijaia will once again take centre stage. The peculiar character will be burnt in the Arriaga Theatre square in front of hundreds of spectators, marking the end of Bilbao’s Semana Grande.

The Collectif Primavez will present the show ImproLocura in Bilbao’s Semana Grande on August 23rd at 19h00 in the Doña Casilda Park.

ImproLocura in the Moon Festival at San Raffaele Cimena

The Moon Festival transforms the village of San Raffaele Cimena into an immersive experience, an open-air theatre where art meets light, where the urban space is filled with stories and where each spectator becomes part of a world suspended between reality and imagination.

Two nights a year, the village of San Raffaele Cimena is transformed into an open-air theatre. Every street, courtyard and square hosts shows, installations and performances that create a unique dialogue with the architecture and landscape. Audiences don’t just watch, they pass by and take part, becoming an integral part of the festival.

At the Moon Festival, the arts intermingle and contaminate each other:

→ Circus, theatre, dance, performance, puppetry and figure theatre.

→ Art installations and specific projects that transform the village into a living work of art.

→ Interactive experiences that invite the public to explore and rediscover the urban space.

ImpoLocura in La Strada Festival in Augsburg.

From 12 to 14 September, artists from all over the world will be delighting young and old with their talent in the centre of Augsburg. Whether it’s acrobatics, clowns or the Ferris wheel, the programme will once again be colourful and varied.

As always, admission is free. Shows start at 4pm on all three days, with the last one at 8pm.
