Playground at the Festival Chic-chac 2025

Playground, at the exhibition of urban gardens, temporary installations, and agricultural projects in Luxembourg 2025.

LUGA – Luxembourg Urban Garden is an open-air exhibition dedicated to urban gardens, landscape and artistic installations, agricultural projects, and living spaces. Taking place from May 7 to October 18, 2025, it invites visitors to explore the connection between city and nature.This temporary exhibition will take over five iconic locations in Luxembourg: the Alzette Valley, Edouard André Municipal Park, the Pétrusse Valley, Kirchberg, and the city of Ettelbruck in Nordstad.

Through various themed trails, immerse yourself in a vision of the city of tomorrow. Enjoy a moment of relaxation surrounded by vibrant gardens, captivating agricultural landscapes, and welcoming spaces for leisure and social interaction. For six months, LUGA will serve as an open-air laboratory of ideas. Largely free of charge, it offers a platform for exchange and experimentation, where every visitor can contribute to a collective reflection on the future of our cities. A diverse program of events will enrich this unique experience, aligning with LUGA’s core themes.

Chinese Pole & acrobatics

Do Artists Need Their Audience? Without a doubt—without spectators, there is no show. But can artists also rely on their audience physically? Miguel Rubio takes on this challenge with Playground.

Here, the staging depends entirely on the spectators. Their gaze, their presence, and even their bodies support the structure of the performance. Seated on eight chairs connected to the Chinese pole, they become a key element of the scenography. Those who accept this role will feel just how much the artist leans on them to keep everything in balance. Blending Chinese pole acrobatics, dance, theater, and humor, Playground is a performance full of surprises and extraordinary adventures. It is an aerial and absurd playground where comedy meets acrobatic prowess, suspended more than eight meters above the ground.

After collaborating with numerous companies and diverse projects, Miguel Rubio wanted to take the Chinese pole to the streets. He designed a self-sufficient system in which the audience itself becomes the pillar of the performance. With Playground, the magic of the Chinese pole comes to life, unfolding anywhere and for everyone.

Playground at Les Ceptaculaires festival at Lantignié

The Les Ceptaculaires 2025 festival will be held in Lantignié from 16 to 18 May 2025. The programme includes a series of shows alternating comedy, street theatre and shows for young audiences. Collectif Primavez will perform with Playground on Friday evening at 8.30pm. On Saturday evening, music will take centre stage in the heart of Lantignié, animating the village square with a festive programme in 3 different atmospheres.

Les Ceptaculaires is a four-site festival, allowing festival-goers to discover the heart of the village and admire the many panoramic views from the slopes of Lantignié. It is a conscious and eco-responsible festival, where living art respects the environment (dry toilets, sorting bins, wooden installations).

Playground at iTAK Festival in Maubeuge

iTAK is back in May! Launched in 2022, iTAK is a festival of adventurers that aims to bring people together. At the forefront of this epic era, iTAK is an invitation to sail together adrift, to cross our islands and inland coves, to cross paths in an archipelago of cultures, on the large island of Le Manège in Maubeugeuge, to stop off in Valenciennes or Belgium.

Playground at the Scènes en Seine festival in Sartrouville.

Would you like to enjoy the traffic-free banks of the Seine while taking in a host of events and shows? Join us on Sunday 25 May 2025 for the 2nd edition of Scènes en Seine. Playground at the Cache-Cache Festival ! in Leffrinckoucke.

Cache-Cache Festival! This is the street arts festival for young audiences in the Dunkirk area! Young and old alike are invited to the Fort des Dunes for a friendly, cultural free-for-all. On the programme for this third edition of the festival: circus, acrobatics, comedy theatre, brass band, tours, games and refreshments. Drawbridge opens at 10am. Detailed programme to follow.

Playground at the Festival Chic-chac in Verviers.

On 09 June 2025 (Whit Monday), the Verviers Cultural Centre, in partnership with the Comptoir des Ressources Créatives de Verviers (CRC), invites you to their 3rd Street Arts Festival in Verviers! Circus, music, magic and theatre shows… free in the public space for all to enjoy!
