Sous le ciel bleu, a show in creation by Collectif Primavez
Inspirations Behind Sous le ciel bleu
One of our key references in this new creative journey is Bruno Catalano and his concept of Les Voyageurs—the idea of what we leave behind when we depart, the parts of ourselves that will never return. These notions inspire us to seek new images and pathways for creation.
On the literary side, we draw inspiration from El Cartógrafo by Juan Mayorga, where he speaks about the lines we draw in our memory—not just to remember places, but also people. A single drawing can take us across the sea or over the mountains, reminding us of the power of mapping our experiences.
So, what do you think? We also wonder: What if our own body could speak? What would it tell us? This question leads us to explore body memory, marking the beginning of an emotional journey to communicate through movement.
Additionally, the simplicity of Rêve toujours! by Créton’Art encourages us to never stop dreaming. It pushes us to ask: What do we dream of? Are we ambitious in our dreams? How do we make them real instead of just fantasies? How long do dreams last? These questions stir and drive us, leading us toward new discoveries.

Statement of Intent
Sous le ciel bleu is a project that began on paper in September 2024, though the idea of its creation has been present for several years.
Primavez has always embraced an active role for the audience in its creations, making them an essential part of the performance and fostering a deep connection between spectators and artists. Human experience is at the core of our work. We question how uncomfortable themes that surround us can be normalized within the performance, allowing space for reflection while embracing the spontaneity of the moment—so that every experience feels like the first time.
Through techniques of Chinese pole, theater, and dance, we aim to bring to life various concepts that will shape Sous le ciel bleu. Even the title itself originates from the creators’ homelands, where the sky is always blue—or at least, that is how they remember it. This highlights the power of memory, how certain images we once took for granted gain significance over time. We will also explore memory as a fundamental element in shaping identity and the way we construct our narratives, influencing how we understand the world around us.
A key element of the show will be a practical exercise with the audience. Designed as a street performance, Sous le ciel bleu relies on active audience participation to come to life. The universality of stage language ensures that the show is accessible to everyone, regardless of language, as words will not be a barrier to understanding or connection.
